Weekend in Zagreb

hAllo…

What’s up? OK I know that you can not respond me and tell me how are you but I am just polite.. hehe 🙂 I think I got destracted. 🙂

So, I spent a really nice weekend in Zagreb with my friend from Bulgaria – Ceco, his girlfriend Ornela and of course Marta. 🙂 It was really nice to spent some time together, because we are always just passing trough, passing by and it’s may be 4-5 months since we’ve last met. As you see we had fun… …we cooked (and of course ate)…    …we walked around the city..  …and then back in the house again…

And of course Sunday came and we had to go back home.So we did. And my working week started again, filled with time sheets, kindergarten, youth centre, house full of people (girls) and new emotions.

Bulgarian week

Hi dear readers!

I am back in Osijek!.. And as promissed I am writing to keep you informed about my EVS and life during this… wonderfull experience.. hehe

The week off was something that I really needed and I realized it when I went home, where I spent a great week with my family, my nephew and Marta. Unfortunatly the weather was not with us all the time but we managed to walk arround Sofia, ,my hometown Svoge and the beautiful region around it. I drove my car, I slept in my old bed,

sh*t in my toilet, went out with my friends, made home cinema with them as well, ate from my mothers great meals (real food finally) and I also discovered that my head really looks like an egg.

All this was perfect, except for the egg part, and now my batteries are recharged and I can go on with the project again and ready for whatever comes.

In Friday afternoon I am going to Zagreb to see un old friend I haven’t seen in a while. I can not wait. More for our meeting and the week that comes I’ll put in the next post.

hmmmmm

Hello again!

I just reread my last post and I am not that proud of it, but unfortunately now I feel the same – without ideas and since yesterday a bit sad. Apart from the fact that I am a bit sick I am not very happy with my EVS at the moment.

Of course I’m still working at the kindergarten, as usual, doing some other activities too, like writing my blog, writing articles, going in the youth club, going at the university for making a research (questionnaire)… I do everything agreed with the host organization, but I feel like I am working and I am missing the point of the whole volunteering thing. How bad. But it’s OK, I know how to be very loyal employee. 🙂 After a lot of changes I really hope that soon everything will go in a better direction for all.

I try to make my life happier of course and that’s why every weekend I go to visit Marta in Vukovar (the next town). She is also a EVS volunteer and I am cooperating, in my free time, with her organization on a music project. I even became a drummer in a band that needed one, which makes me happy. So every weekend we are rehearsing and last Saturday we had a concert, from which I will put some pictures below. 🙂 So… back to music, in love, and with a smile I try to forget or ignore the unpleasant things that are floating by.

I have to inform you about one more good news. In Saturday I am going toBulgaria…. HOOOOME… with Marta. To relax and taste my mother’s food again. SO I will not see you next week, but I will write as soon as I get back.

And.. someday I will probably tell you everything in details about my EVS, but… patience. 🙂
